Job Description

As a Senior User Experience Designer, you take on a responsible role for the analytical and creative design conception as well as the efficient UX development of the team in our customer projects. You translate the business goals and process flows of use cases and user journeys into convincing functions and interaction patterns in order to make their relevant value add accessible and intuitive to perceive for users in a simple way. You integrate different technical platforms and end devices with their various forms of interaction (touch, click, remote, voice, etc.) to create a consistent and coherent user experience.

Together with the client, you clarify the objectives, potentials and requirements and you propose initial setups as to how we can approach the topic. You understand the business, design and IT processes and dovetail them with our methods and tools. During the project, you pay attention to the design performance so that the agreed results are be created and delivered in the planned time and quality. You proactively address changes or obstacles in the project and propose design solutions that are suitable and feasible for the customer and the creative team. You act as a single point of contact person for our clients and colleagues. Where you are on board, there is clarity, transparency and reliability.

Your tasks at wr&co

Analysis, requirements definition and implementation of user-centric scenarios for dedicated and cross-screen applications
Creation of user stories and utilization scenarios based on use case descriptions and business scenarios(linking strategic and business goals with customer-centric user experiences)
Derivation of customer journeys along the customer touchpoints and identification of weak areas (painpoints) and opportunities for improvement
Derivation, content conception and implementation of user interface & interaction flows
Development of innovative solutions for a comprehensive information architecture and dependencies to other products and services
Consideration of necessary and affected processes (for example operational processes, technical requirements, legal or formal regulations)
Technical exchange with business, strategy and user experience stakeholder
Conception of cross-platform and cross-application solutions for various products & services, e-commerce and marketing activities
Preparation of the continuation into UX/UI development and production

Must-have experience and mindsets

This task not only requires know-how and professional experience from a creative design background. Strong communication skills, openness and the ability to build trust and maintain relationships are at least as important. Curiosity, a hand for strong brands, relevant trends and innovations round are completing the profile. This also applies to the joy of not simply taking existing methods, design tools, processes and workflows for granted, but constantly checking whether they should be further developed for better results and fun at work.

Successfully completed university studies with focus on communication design, service design, interaction design, etc.
Experience in the conception and development of user-focused and cross-platform design solutions for complex products and international brands
Good analytical and conceptual skills including the corresponding methodological knowledge
In-depth knowledge and experience with user-focused and cross-platform user interface & interaction design solutions
Experience in detailed and efficient use of common user experience and design software (Adobe Creative Cloud Applications, Sektch, Figma, Axure, etc.)
Experience creating native prototypes or using common software (InVision,proto.io, Axure, Framer, React Native, etc.)
Methodological knowledge in the implementation of agile projects(SCRUM, Canban) and agile DevOps environments such as SAFe or LeSS.
High affinity for technological aspects, a strong creativity and a high demand for quality in work
Implementation of innovative online and offline projects for different screen classes, user-centered design processes and workflows
Flexibility, independence and dedicated collaboration in complex projects
Ability to grasp complex project contexts and transform them into solutions that inspire customers
Ability to work in a team and have strong interpersonal skills when working with other design disciplines and developers
Experience in presenting content concisely and convincingly (up to management level)
