Senior Design Manager (m/f/d)

• Creation of optimal framework conditions for design projects across all touchpoints.
• Analysis, definition and management of design competencies and resources.
• Active total workforce management of internal and external resources.
• Development, implementation and realization of KPI systems for measuring the success of user experience and design performance (design value).
• Management and organization along the complete “Customer Journey”.
• Handling and use of instruments, tools and methods to develop, drive and continuously improve the customer experience in the corporate environment of our customers.
• Acquisition of multipliers and supporters for the topic of design and user and/or customer experience.
• Practicing “cultural change” in terms of culture, methods and processes (especially product development processes).

This task not only requires know-how and professional experience from a creative design background. Strong communication skills, openness and the ability to build trust and maintain relationships are just as important. Curiosity, a hand for strong brands, relevant trends and innovations complete your profile. • Educational focus on business administration with design and/or technology background.
• Experience in leading complex projects in the Internet/media environment, consumer electronics or telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of key design disciplines and implementation approaches of Product Design in digital service industries.
• Passion and motivation to design and manage processes, information and tools of Product Design in a simple and effective way from a designer’s perspective.
• Natural persuasiveness, innovative spirit, communication skills and assertiveness.
• Ability to present content concisely and persuasively (up to management level).
• Excellent knowledge of all standard office applications (MS Outlook / Word / PowerPoint, etc.).
• Methodological knowledge in the implementation of agile projects(SCRUM, Canban) and agile DevOps environments such as SAFe or LeSS.
